Set up email, contacts and calendars on your Android phone.
If you already have an old company email account on your phone, you should delete that first. Don’t worry! You won’t lose anything.
You can access your company email, contacts and calendar on your Android phone using Microsoft’s Outlook app.
Open the Google Play Store on your device and search for Microsoft Outlook. If you’re viewing this page on the device you want to set up your email on, you can tap here to go straight to the app in the store.
Tap Get Started if this is your first time.
Otherwise, to add another email account, open the Menu > Settings > Add Account > Add Email Account.
Enter your full company email address, then tap Continue.
Enter your email account password and tap Sign In or Next.
If multi-factor authentication is enabled, verify your identity.
That’s it. You’re good to go!
Repeat this process for any other company email accounts you need to add to your device.
Synchronise your Outlook contacts with your phone.
To make it easier to place phone calls to your work contacts, you might want to synchronise them with the Contacts app on your device.
Open the Outlook app, tap Settings then tap your work email account, and tap to turn on Sync contacts.
Add a Shared Mailbox
Now that you’ve added your primary work email account, you might want to add a shared mailbox to your phone or tablet. This might be appropriate if you have access to a generic email account (such as firstname.lastname@example.org) or your manager’s mailbox.
Do more with Microsoft 365 on your mobile device
While you’re there, why not install the Office app on your device to gain access to more features of your company account?
